At Teraco we go the extra mile “behind the scenes”, providing creative, design and technical expertise in support of our Customer’s Brand Mission.
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) of 1996 was signed into law on August 21, 1996. Title II of HIPAA establishes policies and procedures for maintaining the privacy and the security of individually identifiable health information. Teraco is proud to be one of a select group of HIPAA compliant card vendors in the industry. We maintain a program of continuous physical and logical security controls and have a policy of regular risk assessment. Our Personalization and Fulfillment Center is located in a recently constructed secure access controlled environment and protected via twin firewalls that feed PHI & PII onto our dedicated Secure Server Platform. We are well positioned to securely receive and process sensitive data and produce products requiring confidentiality and physical protections as recommended in the HIPAA/HITECH requirements. We maintain a 24/7/365 Monitoring Protocol that ensures confidentiality for the Provider, Individual Member, Medical Professional and Employer. Whether your data is ‘At-Rest or In Motion”, we have established best practice Physical and Electronic security logic for protecting the integrity of Customer PII and PHI.
